Remarkable scene of nighttime set-up. The alternating shots make it clear that the house is surrounded. The contrast between the shadowy gunmen and the brightness of the house heightens the tension. Time drags on. This almost Hitchcockian sequence takes us from the outside to the inside, with the added bonus of two beautiful close-ups of Rose and Jonas.
