Here's a cover that breaks with its predecessors. The frame is tight. There's no escape, as in the album, which ends in a locked room. The hand, which we assume to be Sister Oz's, threatens Jonas and alludes to the Russian roulette she uses in the diptych. The undertaker's glowing color and worried expression add to the tension.
I'd never done a close-up of Jonas on the cover before! This tight framing seemed the best way to convey the particularly oppressive feel of this album. R.M.
