The silhouette of the Ambassador. We are gripped by vertigo, gripped by Jonas's anguished gaze and the vanishing lines running in opposite directions. Jonas himself seems off-balance. Note the folds in his sleeves, inspired by Joseph Christian Leyendecker, the illustrator of the last century, and the harmony that emerges from the alternating blue and orange colors. Once again, an alternative cover offering the opportunity to explore new graphic territories. Here, the extreme stylization of all elements harks back to the Art Deco aesthetic of the 1920s. R.M.
