Another watercolor typical of Will's world. It captures the spirit of cabaret: feathers, rhinestones, glitter and sensuality. Kneeling, bosom outstretched, adorned in long black gloves and an oversized feather headdress, this dancer embodies both the object of desire and the power of the stage. Behind her, silhouettes move about, suggesting the return to the dressing room at the end of the number. Exhausted, the dancer abandons herself, having given her all. Here, sensuality becomes a spectacle in itself.
