Lune de guerre tells the story of a bloody wedding, starting with a fistfight over a story about shrimps that aren't fresh. This direct-color album was one of Hermann's biggest commercial successes, and the story was later adapted for the screen. In this silent page, it's hard not to admire the contrast between the warm colors of the fire and the cold blue stillness of the night. No need for dialogue, no matter how brilliant: it's all in the looks, the attitudes....
