Here, Hermann displays his skills as an inker, capable of rendering all material effects, from wet to dry, from fabric coverings to rusty sheet metal, in one of his famous low-angle shots, with the camera on the ground, which can be seen at the end of the page. The following panels are no less remarkable, with their drapery executed with Rotring and pen. Hermann is unquestionably one of the finest inkers of his generation. This plate also removes a small doubt instilled by the album's title: the bikers, like the Three Musketeers, are indeed four...
