BAR2 JOE BAR TEAM Vents d'Ouest Al'Laspi in search of speed on the fast 1975 Guzzi 750S. Original illustration created for a diary after the 1991 release of the first album. Signed. India ink and colored inks on paper 14.7 × 7.7 cm (5.79 × 3.03 in.) In terms of handling, braking and, more generally, sporting ability, the Moto-Guzzi V7 Sport has long held the top spot. This made it the favorite thoroughbred of motorcyclists who love sporty riding and beautiful machines, especially if they come from Italy. "The one I've chosen for this drawing, codenamed "750 S3", is the latest evolution of the V7 Sport. In 1976, it would be replaced by the 850 Le Mans, another flagship of Italian production at the time. And here again, in his riding position and general appearance, the rider I was going to design had to be in harmony with his mount. Hence, among other things, the little green, white and red sticker on his helmet - a superb Buco, with clean lines, also produced in Italy. And since his bike's low-positioned "sport" half handlebars invite him to do so, our man knows no other way of logging kilometers than flattened out on the tank, his nose in the meters.
