The reunion of Jazz, Teo and Judas Jazz Maynard's third album, Against All Odds, closes what is known as the first arc of the story. And it does so with heavy doses of action. Jazz, Teo and Judas will have to put aside their differences in order to confront organized crime, which is turning El Raval into the center of a complex plot that brings together Chinese triads and the upper echelons of Barcelona's city hall. The cover of this album lives up to expectations. An action scene with Jazz, Teo and Judas in clearly compromising attitudes. The composition focuses attention on Judas, first, and then on Jazz and Teo, at the ends, dividing our attention between what is happening on our right and what could happen on our left. The graphic choice of background only highlights the characters and causes a certain sense of uncertainty.
"My favorite cover of the series. In Jazz Maynard Volume 3, Roger has taken a giant step in the evolution of his style. He took inking techniques from friends like Toni Fejzula, master RM Guera and other artists and applied them perfectly to his drawing, making it more vivid and animalistic. " Raule
