PELLÉ
SERGE PELLÉ ORBITAL Ravages (T.4), Dupuis 2010 Original cover. Signed. Acrylic, inks and pencil on paper 45 × 62 cm (17.72 × 24.41 in.) One can say that Serge Pellé is a child of the Métal Hurlant generation, the one that discovered SF - until then "bad genre" - and that was dazzled by the interpretations of Moebius, Mézières and Bilal. He is also from the generation of 2001 Space Odyssey, Star Wars, Alien, Blade Runner. He was fed with the first Japanese cartoons and video games, whose blossoming is contemporary. In 2005, he started with Sylvain Runberg, the impressive series Orbital, in the collection Repérages, at Dupuis. The adventures of Caleb and his extraterrestrial companion Mézoké are characterized by their geopolitical but also humanistic dimension (in the most sidereal sense of the term).
