For his very first auction organized on his behalf, Daniel Maghen managed a particularly successful sale with an exceptional sales rate of 94% in value (80% of the artworks presented).

The 6 lots of
Hergé were sold for €517 200 incl. taxes. 


ANDRÉ JUILLARD
At the opening of the sale, a first part was dedicated to André Juillard ; 29 artworks out of 31 were sold and reached €350 000 taxes included (estimate : 230 000 €).
The top price of this section is an original page from Le Cahier bleu (pl.6, 1993), estimated at €10 000, sold for €37 000 taxes included.
The original artwork in Les 7 Vies de l'Epervier, volume 7 (page no 2, 1991), which was estimated at €10 000, set a record for a black and white original page and soared to €33 180 incl. taxes.

NEW RECORDS
Some artists have set new world records: Juan Gimenez (cover of La Caste des Méta-Barons sold for €37 700 all taxes included), Alex Alice (cover of Le Troisième Testament sold for €31 600 all taxes included) and Gos (cover of Le Scrameustache sold for €11 190 all taxes included).


BESTSELLERS
Among the best sales, we find André Franquin (the five lots were sold for €279 120 incl. taxes, including a cover of Spirou et Fantasio sold for €191 000 and a half-page of Gaston sold for €47 400), Jean Giraud (The five lots were sold for €85 100 incl. taxes, including a page of Blueberry sold for €35 500, Hugo Pratt (half-page of Corto Maltese sold for €52 640 incl. taxes), Enki Bilal (original page of Partie de chasse sold for €29 000 incl. taxes), Jean-Pierre Gibrat (the two lots were sold for €43 430 including taxes, including a page of Le Vol du Corbeau sold for €27 640), Ana Mirallès (the two lots sold for €31 300  incl. taxes, including the cover of the complete edition of Djinn sold for €19 140), Joann Sfar ( the cover of  the volume number 8 of Le Chat du Rabbin sold for €24 250 incl. taxes), Benjamin Lacombe (the cover of the luxury edition of Curiosities sold for €20 400 incl. taxes) and Sylvain Vallée (Katanga original page sold for €14 000 incl. taxes).

Some artworks have been sold for a very good price: Cosey (the cover of Jonathan sold for 17 870 € including taxes), Vance (cover of Bruno Brazil sold for 16 590 € incl. taxes), Gotlib (page of Superdupont sold for 14 480 € incl. taxes), Roger (page of Jazz Maynard sold for 5 740 € including taxes) and Sempé (illustration sold for 10 270 € including taxes).
