At dawn, a seaweed fishing boat is sailing along Île Vierge. The imposing silhouette of Europe's tallest ashlar lighthouse can be seen floating above the sea mist. This drawing, made in December 2020, is part of a series of ten commissioned by the Communauté de Communes des Abers in North Finistère, on the occasion of the restoration of the lighthouse. These illustrations will be the subject of posters, postcards and a permanent exhibition, on the island and travelling to the surrounding communes. A book will probably be published on this occasion.
